Up for sale is a beautiful gray top Lackawanna FM trainmaster locomotive wearing the prototypical gray and maroon Lackawanna colors. This locomotive has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and runs like a gem, nice and smooth without any issues and even the horn operates perfectly. The exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering is crisp and complete while the side walkways are complete, but do have signs of aging and tarnishing. Additionally, each end does have the typical screwhole cracks, but the frame, trucks and couplers are all free of rust and oxidation. Overall, a beautiful trainmaster that usually is found in well used condition.
Also included with this locomotive are the original instructions and insert. The original box is complete, has all interior and exterior flaps, although there is some minor writing on one side as seen in one of the photos above. Additionally, an original insert is included although one of the tuck flaps on one end is torn off and missing.
