Up for sale is a gorgeous set of very low mileage Minneapolis & St. Louis Alco AB diesels that have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to run on your layout or proudly displayed on a shelf. The front apron on the power unit is complete and not cracked nor repaired plus the frames, trucks and couplers are clean and have a factory fresh appearance to all metal components. The exterior colors are vibrant while the side lettering is clean with only a hint of minor handling wear on the white side stripe on the B unit. Otherwise, the headlight, two position e-unit and single axle magnetraction and horn are all functional. Lastly, there are no nicks, chips nor blemishes to either shell.
Also included are nice and clean original boxes and instructions. The power unit is missing the orange sleeve however the brown corrugated box is solid and includes all interior and exterior flaps. The trailer unit box is also solid, clean and only missing one interior coupler flap. Lastly, original instructions #229-7 and dated April 1961 are also included with these Alco diesels.
