Now available for sale is a stunning, near-new, Lionel Alco diesel that was only manufactured for a single year. Externally, the colors are pristine with bright, crisp and complete side lettering and graphics. There are no nicks, chips nor damage to the shell but the front apron does have a hairline crack. Internally, the frame and all metal components are clean and fresh-looking, there is no rust nor oxidation plus the diesel has been tested and does operate properly. Finally, features of the diesel include:
- Interior front headlight
- Front coupler
- Two position e-unit
- Dual axle magnetraction
Lastly, the original box and instructions are also included. The instructions are properly numbered 225-6 and dated March 1960. The original box is solid, but as pictured above is missing the front perforated panel.
