Now available for sale is a clean, undamaged U.S. Steel Girder Bridge from the very early MPC era. This bridge looks great, is free of rust and oxidation but unfortunately has some very minor green layout paint on the lower portion of one side (see 2nd photo above, lower portion of the bridge). Otherwise, the girders are complete and it is ready to be installed on a layout.
Also included with the girder bridge is a poor original box and US Steel window flyer insert. Very few of these classic red, white and blue MPC era boxes have survived intact and this particular box looks great on one end, but poor on the opposite end. As seen in the photos above, one end looks great while the opposite end is missing all flaps. Interestingly, the US Steel window flyer insert is the most difficult item to locate these days from these early 1970's girder bridges.
