Up for sale is the rare and uncatalogued 221 Santa Fe Alco A locomotive with the olive-colored shell! This diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to run on your layout or proudly displayed on a shelf. The exterior colors are clean, the side lettering is complete and not faded nor worn, but as seen in the 11th photo above, there are some light surface marks on one side. Additionally, the frame, trucks and wheels are free of rust but there is the typical aging on the side of the frame that is common to many of the 1960-era Alco's. Lastly, there are no nicks, chips nor blemishes on the body, the front apron is complete and not cracked nor repaired and feature of the diesel include:
- Closed front pilot
- No front coupler, simulated horn nor light
- Two position e-unit
- Single axle power without magnetraction
