Up for sale is a gorgeous, near-new Rio Grande A Alco diesel that was manufactured in the early 1960's. Although the 221 is relatively common, locating one in high collector condition is not an easy task. This diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to run on your layout or proudly visible in a display case. The exterior colors are clean and vibrant while the side lettering is in gorgeous condition. The frame, trucks and wheels are free of rust and oxidation and all functionality operates as designed by Lionel. Lastly, there are no nicks, chips nor blemishes on the shell, the interior is as clean as the exterior, the unit is free of rust and oxidation and simply put, this Alco A diesel looks factory fresh!
