Up for sale is an extremely clean set of Santa Fe AA Alco diesels that have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and ready to run on your layout. The front apron on each diesel is complete and not cracked, broken nor repaired. The exterior colors are clean and vibrant while the side lettering, graphics and stripes are crisp and complete. Additionally, the frames and wheel are free of rust and oxidation. The only blemishes on these units is some box rub marks on a couple of high areas and a very small moon-shaped paint flake on the top rear section of one cab. Lastly, features of these Alco diesels include:
- Dual axle power
- Magnetraction on both axles
- Illuminated front headlight
- Three position e-unit
- Functional horn that has been battery tested and works properly
Also included with the diesels are nice and solid original boxes. The power unit has all interior and exterior flaps as well as the original sleeve, but the sleeve is missing the perforated panel. The trailer unit has all interior and exterior flaps, the front perforated panel is still mostly attached but there is tape on the interior of several flaps. Lastly, original instructions dated 1959 are also included with this set of Alco diesels.
Note: this set of Alco's are a mixture of one small ledge and one large ledge on the front apron -- which would have taken place in 1960.
