Up for sale is a gorgeous, all original and somewhat hard-to-find postwar shell for the prototypical looking 216 Minneapolis & St. Louis Alco A diesel unit. This popular and colorful shell has pristine exterior colors with perfect side lettering and graphics plus the front apron is complete and not cracked!
However, as seen in the 7th, 8th & 9th photo there is sadly a large repair in the rear of the shell. The repair looks great as it's barely noticeable from a foot away from the cab. Excluding the rear crack, the rest of the cab is graded at a 9 -- it looks stunning! If you have an Alco frame you're looking to upgrade with a beautiful and somewhat unusual shell, this might be the perfect option for you.
