Up for sale is a stunning, near-new and quite possibly a never used Station Platform from the very early MPC era. This Station Platform was only manufactured by Lionel for two years (1970 & 1971) and the box is the true gem in this purchase -- which is far rarer compared to the station!
The platform is in gorgeous condition with vibrant colors, complete center fence and it does not have a nick nor mark on the base. The lights have been tested and do illuminate properly plus the accessory has both original coiled wires along with the CTC lockon.
Lastly, the prize of this purchase is the original box. Very few of these classic red, white and blue MPC era boxes have survived intact and this particular box looks fantastic. The box is nice and square plus all interior and exterior flaps are present and free of writing and tape. There are a couple of very minor tears along the fold lines, however it will be a great display item and will enhance any early Lionel MPC collection.
