Now available for sale is a decent looking set of New Haven Alco AA diesels that have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to run on your layout. Externally, the shells have vibrant colors, crisp front decals and complete side lettering and graphics. Even the frames are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Unfortunately, there are some issues with this set:
- Power Unit:
- Front apron has a hairline crack
- Rear screwhole is cracked and has a small piece of plastic missing
- Trailer Unit:
- Front apron is missing
- Front coupler is missing
- With a missing front coupler, this unit needs to be the lead unit with the power unit as the trailer unit
Overall, a nice, clean set of operator grade New Haven Alco diesels with the following features:
- Illuminated headlight
- Three position e-unit
- Functional horn
- Two-axle magnetraction drive
