Additional Comments: Up for sale is a pair of matching power and trailer unit original boxes for the 209 Hew Haven Alco AA diesels as well as the correct original instructions for this locomotive set.
The boxes are solid, complete with all interior and exterior flaps and simply in nice condition. There are no tears nor writing but there is some aging or light soiling on the exterior. Lastly, the printing is one each box is vibrant and these boxes never included an insert when original sold by Lionel.
Also included are original instructions for the New Haven diesels. The instructions are correctly numbered 208-11 and dated May 1958. There is some light aging or discoloration on the instructions, but they are free or writing, tears and puncture holes.
