Now available for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, near-new set of Missouri Pacific AA Alco diesels that were manufactured in 1957. These diesels are somewhat hard-to-find in high grade collector condition and you won't be disappointed with this pair of locomotives. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to run on your layout or proudly visible in a display case. The exterior colors are clean and vibrant while the side lettering is gorgeous. The frames, trucks and wheels are free of rust and oxidation and all functionality operates as designed by Lionel including the motor, headlight, magnetraction and e-unit.
Finally, there are no nicks, chips nor blemishes on either unit and the front aprons are complete and not cracked. The dummy unit is the early variation with the factory removed front apron and having the painted front metal apron. The power unit has the complete front plastic apron but no metal support bracket. Simply put, these Alco AA diesels look factory fresh!
