Up for sale is a nice and clean, all-original 2046W whistling tender from the later 1950's. This tender has an original frame, trucks, internal components as well as an original postwar shell. The tender has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for your layout. Externally, the tender shell is extremely clean with crisp and vibrant side lettering plus all four corner edges and steps are intact and not cracked nor repaired. Internally, all components are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Lastly, the bar-end trucks are the correct variation with magnetic couplers and the side tab.
This tender was produced throughout the mid to late 1950's and was included with many baby Hudson locomotives such as the 646, 665, 2037, 2055, and 2065. However, it is fully compatible with most other postwar steam locomotives.
