Now available for sale is an original postwar shell and frame for the Pennsylvania streamlined whistling tender. Lionel supplied this tender to the turbines of the early to mid-1950's. This particular tender has a nice and clean exterior, good side lettering and only minor surface marks from usage. The tender has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for your layout plus the internal components are as nice as the exterior. Externally, all corner steps are intact and there is nothing broken nor damaged on the shell plus the bar-end trucks are complete and fully functional. Lastly, the frame and trucks are free of rust and oxidation.
This tender was produced in the early to mid-1950's and was originally sold with the 671RR, 681 & 682 steamer, however, it is also fully compatible with many other postwar steam locomotives.
