Up for sale is a gorgeous, all-original postwar K-4 Pacific steam locomotive and tender from 1952. This steamer and tender combination is the later variation with the 2-6-4 wheel arrangement plus the tender has a near-new original tender shell! Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works exactly as designed -- and the smoke unit puffs like a chimney! There is no damage to either item and the exterior colors are nice, clean and vibrant plus the front of the tender frame has minimal paint flaking on the metal exposed frame. Lastly, the side lettering and numbers are clean, the drive rods are free of rust and oxidation plus the boiler front is an original 1952 component. Overall, a beautiful steamer and whistling tender combination.
