Now available for sale is an late 1947 or early 1948 2025 steam locomotive with the 2466WX tender. This steamer has the black-painted stack (generally viewed as 1948 production) with a 2466WX tender (generally viewed as 1947 production). Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and look stunning plus the run like a champ! The exterior colors are near-flawless, the side lettering and numbers are crisp and the tender shell is an original postwar shell. There is no damage to either item and other than a couple of very , very minor surface marks it will be hard to find a nicer set. Lastly, the boiler front appears to be an original postwar component that is complete with both top marker lights and there is no rust nor oxidation on either unit.
