Up for sale is Lionel's first version of the postwar K-4 Pacific steam locomotive and tender. This steamer has the aluminum stack, no simulated coupler on the pilot along with the correct 2466WX tender. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works exactly as designed. Externally, the units have vibrant colors with clean and complete side lettering and numbers. Additionally, there is no damage to either item, the tender has an original postwar body plus there is no rust nor oxidation on either item. Lastly, the side rods on the steam locomotive do have some minor tarnishing in a few locations plus the boiler front is an original component although the 2025 white printed numbers are worn off of the front keystone herald.
