Now available for sale is a gorgeous, barely used full size 1953 Lionel Consumer Catalogue with its original mailing envelope that was mailed to a customer in San Francisco California. Regarding condition, below is a summary:
- Consumer Catalogue: in nice condition, no tears, tape nor blemishes but the edges have minor signs of wear and usage. The front and rear cover are still properly attached and the colors are crisp and vibrant.
- Mailing Envelope: In nice condition but there is minor aging along the perimeter as well as minior signs of handling. The exterior colors and stampings are crisp and complete plus the rear envelope tab is still present. Someone did write in light pencil "1961 - 1962" below the mailing address -- which has been erased -- but there is a faint outline of the years. Overall, a beautiful set that would look great as a display item. Grading of the envelope is in condition 8.
