Up for sale is a beautiful, clean, complete and all-original Western & Atlantic flatcar with original horses. This classic Civil War style freight car has clean exterior colors with crisp, complete side lettering. Additionally, all of the fence sections are complete and not cracked nor damaged plus all tabs on the longer sections are complete and not repaired. Lastly, all original horses are complete and not damaged plus both trucks, couplers and wire support truss braces are clean and free of rust and oxidation although there is some light oxidation starting on the top of the rivet used to secure the truck to the flatcar.
Also included with this freight car is its original box. The box is complete with both end and tuck flaps, all four interior flaps and the front perforated panel is complete and still attached. There is tape on the interior of two flaps and externally there is some light soiling from age or storage. Overall, a very nice both that rarely shows up for sale with the flatcar.
