Now available for sale is a gorgeous, near-new, all-original 1872 General style steam locomotive and tender. Other than some wheel wear on the wheels, both the steamer and tender shows no signs of handling and has beautiful exterior colors. Even the side lettering and graphics are crisp, clean and complete. Overall condition of the set is gorgeous as both items still have a factory fresh appearance to them.
The steamer and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly including the three position e-unit, smoke unit works flawlessly and the illuminated headlight does work. Additionally, the steam locomotive is complete and undamaged plus all boiler support braces for the handrail are not cracked nor repaired and both units are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Both of these items are in fantastic condition and would look great on a layout of in a display case.
