Now available for sale is a near-new # 8644 Santa Fe 4-4-2 steam locomotive that was included in many starter sets during the late 1990's. This tried & true steamer is a true workhorse as it's proven to be very reliable and durable. Both the steamer and tender combination has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and they work perfectly. The e-unit cycles properly, the headlight is functional, the whistle in the tender operates perfectly and the smoke unit puffs like a chimney! Externally, the paint and graphics are pristine, there are no nicks, chips nor apologies on either unit and both are certainly free of any rust and oxidation. Lastly, the front marker lights are still properly attached and not damaged nor repaired. Overall, an absolutely pristine steamer that would look great on any layout or under a Christmas tree.
