Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous, all-original 1862 General style steam locomotive and tender. The steam locomotive does show some very minor wheel wear, otherwise the exterior colors are vibrant, the side lettering and graphics look great and there are no nicks, chips nor damage to either unit. Both the steamer and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly including the two position e-unit and illuminated headlight. Additionally, the steam locomotive -- with the red headlight lantern cover -- is complete and undamaged plus all boiler support braces for the handrail are not cracked nor repaired and both units are clean and free of rust and oxidation. Both of these items are in fantastic condition and would look great on a layout of in a display case.
