Up for sale is the later -- and harder to find -- variation of the 1666 with the number rubber stamped onto the side of the cab. Both the steam locomotive and whistling tender units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operate perfectly. The e-unit cycles properly, the front headlight does illuminate and the tender whistle is loud and strong. The exterior colors are gorgeous, the side lettering is crisp and clean and the drive rods are original parts. Lastly, the tender shell is an original shell that is free of chips, cracks and damage -- plus neither the tender nor steamer show any signs of rust nor oxidation. Overall, a gorgeous Prairie steamer and tender that usually show up in well used condition, nice collector grade examples are fairly difficult to locate.
