Now available for sale is a gorgeous, all original # 1665 Steam Switcher Locomotive with the correct 6403B bell ringing tender! This extremely hard-to-find, one year only bell ringing switcher locomotive and tender have beautiful exterior paint with clean side lettering plus nothing is broken, damaged nor repaired on either unit. Both items have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and work just as designed by Lionel 75+ years ago -- including the tender bell! Lastly, other than the "5" on each cab side that is partly worn (or more likely, poorly applied at the factory) and some paint flaking on the front lip of the tender frame, there are barely any signs of usage and certainly no rust nor oxidation. Lastly, all side rods are extremely clean with one rod having very minor tarnishing.
