Now available for sale is a clean, complete and fully functional 1656 Steam Switcher Locomotive with the correct 2403B bell ringing tender. This hard-to-find bell ringing switcher locomotive and tender have clean and original exterior paint with crisp side lettering and graphics. Additionally, both the steamer and tender are free of damage, nothing is broken nor repaired on either unit and the only apologies to both units are minor surface marks from years of moving freight on the Lionel Lines railroad for nearly 80 years.
Each item have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and they work just as designed by Lionel 80 years ago -- including the front and rear light, coil couplers and the tender bell. Lastly, the cab numbers are crisp and complete plus all side rods are clean and both units are free of rust and oxidation and one of the wires running from the tender to the steamer has been replaced. Overall, a very nice and clean operator grade locomotive.
