Now available for sale is a set of three original postwar # 160 Bakelite dump bins. Each dump bin has a single chip in one corner (as seen in photos 5 & 6) -- but otherwise are fully functional, look nice and clean and would be perfect for any operator grade layout. These early bakelite version bins measuring 3" deep by 7" wide and were predominately included with Lionel's operating log dump cars (3451 & 3461) and coal dump (3459 & 3469) freight cars produced from the mid-1940's through the mid-1950's -- but can be used with any postwar or modern era dump car.
