Now available for sale is a complete # 155 Bell Ringing Signal. The signal has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and wants to operate properly, but like most 155 signals, it falls a bit short in perfect operation. Here's a summary of this signal:
- Independently, all components have been tested and work properly
- The bell does ding properly
- The vibromotor & cam do rotate
- Both lights have been tested and do illuminate
- There are no broken, damaged nor missing components
The issue with this unit: when all components are assembled, the bell does ding, but only one light flashes, the second light does not illuminate
Externally, the unit is free of rust and oxidation plus the base is nice and clean with only minor signs of aging. If you have patience and don't mind tinkering, you might be able to get the second light to illuminate when all components are assembled.
Lastly, an original Middle Classic box is included, but is missing most interior flaps as well as one tuck flap. Additionally an original # 145C track activator is included as well as original instructions dated 1955.
