Now available for sale is an extremely rare variation of the Operating Gateman accessory. This is the very early 1950 version with a green based bottom base and red roof. You almost never see the green painted bottom base version for sale -- let alone one in collector condition!
This accessory is extremely clean, fully serviced, tested and ready to set up on your layout or in a display case. The accessory has a clean base with beautiful exterior colors and nothing is nicked, chipped nor damaged. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on the accessory.
Also included is an original 1950 box as well as a set of original instructions (properly dated June 1950, the first variation of these instructions), plus the 145C track activator and packing envelope. Lastly, the insert appears to be a reproduction insert.
