Up for sale is a clean and fully functional 60 watt transformer manufactured by Lionel in the late 1950's. The external case is clean, free of damage and cracks but there are some light surface marks from usage. The base too is nice and clean with only minor marks from usage. Lastly, the transformer has a replacement line cord installed plus it has been tested and all functional works as designed by Lionel. The 1053 also has a separate whistle control button -- which is usually not available on the smaller transformers. These smaller transformers are perfect for a small layout or powering lights and accessories on a larger layout.
