Now available for sale is a clean and fully functional 60 watt transformer manufactured by Lionel in the late 1950's. The external case is clean, free of damage and cracks but there are some light surface marks from usage. Additionally, the base is clean but there are light surface marks from being placed on a table top plus the original line cord is still installed and is both flexible and plyable. Lastly, the transformer has been tested and all functional works as designed by Lionel plus this transformer includes a separate whistle control button -- which is usually not available on the smaller transformers. These smaller transformers are perfect for a small layout or powering lights and accessories on a larger layout.
