Now available for sale is a beautiful 50 watt transformer manufactured by Lionel in the mid-1950's. The external case is vibrant and clean, free of cracks and damage and only a couple of minor surface marks from usage. The base too is clean and free of rust and oxidation although there is some minor paint loss from usage on the raised perimeter section. Lastly, the transformer has been tested and all functional works as designed by Lionel plus the line cord has been replaced for your safety.
Also included is its original box. The box is clean and solid plus it includes all internal and external flaps and there is no tape nor puncture hole on the box. These smaller transformers are perfect for a small layout or powering lights and accessories on a larger layout.
