Now available for sale is a somewhat hard-to-find 1014 transformer that was only manufactured for a single year: 1955. This transformer has a beautiful external case with vibrant colors plus it is free of scratches and marks. The base is in great condition too with no surface marks from usage. Lastly, the original line cord is still installed and is both flexible and plyable plus the transformer has been tested and all functional works as designed by Lionel.
Also included with the transformer is a decent original box as well as two original coiled wires. The wires are clean and ready for use plus the box is solid, has all internal and external flaps, is free of puncture holes and tears, although there is some minor discoloration and aging on the exterior. These smaller transformers are perfect for a small layout or powering lights and accessories on a larger layout.
