Up for sale is a somewhat hard-to-find 1014 transformer that was only manufactured for a single year: 1955. This transformer has a beautiful external case with vibrant colors plus it is free of scratches and marks. The base is in great condition too with only minor surface marks from minimal usage. Finally, the original line cord is still installed and is both flexible and plyable plus the transformer has been tested and all functional works as designed by Lionel.
Also included with the transformer is a nice original box. The box is solid, has all internal and external flaps plus it's free of puncture holes and tears, although there is some minor discoloration and aging on the exterior. These smaller transformers are perfect for a small layout or powering lights and accessories on a larger layout.
