Up for sale is an original postwar tender frame, trucks and all internal components with a reproduction New York Central tender shell. The tender has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready for your layout. Externally, the tender shell is a brand new reproduction shell and internally all components are clean, free of rust and oxidation and graded at a 7+ to an 8! Lastly, the trucks are complete and fully functional plus the brittle original wiring has been replaced with new wire.
This tender was produced in the mid-1960's and would look absolutely fine behind a 736 Berkshire or 773 semi scale Hudson locomotive. However, it is also fully compatible with many other postwar steam locomotives including the 637, 665, 685, 2029 and 2037.
