Now available for sale is a nice and clean, all-original 637 Prairie steamer and 2046W whistling tender. Both the steamer and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested an all functionality works as originally designed by Lionel. The exterior colors on the locomotive are pristine and the side lettering is crisp, clean and complete with no signs of fading or handling. Additionally, there is no rust nor oxidation on the steam locomotive, nothing nicked, chipped nor damaged and its condition is easily graded at an 8!
The tender has been tested and the whistle operates perfectly. The tender shell is an original postwar shell however one of the rear steps has been broken off. Additionally, there are some light surface marks on one side, probably due to improper storage over the years. Lastly, the trucks and couplers are clean, the unit has been rewired and there is one small spot of oxidation on the base of the frame. Overall condition of the tender is a 6+.
