Now available for sale is the somewhat hard-to-find 2379 Rio Grande F3 AB diesel set. This colorful and prototypical diesel has vibrant exterior colors, clean, crisp side lettering and graphics and is free of rust and oxidation. The power unit has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and all functionality works just as designed by Lionel 65 years ago.
Condition:
- Power Unit: Grade 7: The power unit is nice and clean plus it is free of nicks, chips and damage. The only issue with the power (as seen in the last photo) is the side decal on the right side near the front is partly missing and askew. Otherwise, the rest of the power unit is graded a 7+.
- B Unit: Grade 7++: Like the power unit, the exterior colors and decals are in nice condition. There is nothing nicked, chipped nor damaged on the B unit and it is free of rust and oxidation.
