Now available for sale is one of the harder-to-find postwar GP-9 locomotives, the 2359 Boston & Maine diesel from the early 1960's. This road switcher has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and is ready to run on your layout. The exterior colors are crisp and vibrant and the side lettering and graphics are in nice condition. The main apologies on this locomotive is one window strut is broken and missing and there are some minor surface marks on the exterior from usage. Otherwise, the frame is in great condition (the frame is graded a 7 to 7+) and there is no rust on the frame nor trucks. Lastly, the diesel has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and operates perfectly. Overall, a decent locomotive that does not often surface for sale.
