Now available for sale is a beautiful set of Boston & Maine AB Alco diesels that have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and are ready to run on your layout or proudly visible in a display case. The exterior colors are clean and vibrant while the side lettering and decals are in gorgeous condition. The frames, trucks and wheel are free of rust and oxidation, all functionality operates as designed by Lionel including the headlight, 3-position e-unit and both magnetraction axles plus the front apron is complete and not cracked nor damaged!
The only blemish on these units is some paint loss on the top of the B unit -- which is either from a spray getting on top of the unit and the paint peeling or something on the shell prior to painting. The paint does not appear to be peeling and it's probably a issue with the shell prior to the factory applying a layer of paint.
Lastly, condition of the power unit is easily an 8, it's beautiful! The trailer unit too has gorgeous exterior colors, paint and decals, but with the roof issue, is probably only graded at a 7.
