Now available for sale is a near-new 2037 Prairie steamer and 243W whistling tender. Both the steamer and tender have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested an all functionality works as originally designed by Lionel. The exterior colors on the locomotive and tender are pristine and the side lettering is crisp, clean and complete with no signs of fading or handling. Obviously, there are no nicks, chips, nor blemishes on either unit.
The original boxes are as nice as the steamer and tender. The individual boxes are complete and solid and the rare 2037LTS master carton is clean, complete and not torn nor tattered. The only minor blemish on the boxes is the master carton has a small amount of moisture staining on one corner and the front of the steamer box has some of very minor rippling (probably from a tiny amount of moisture). Additionally, original instructions (dated 1959) plus smoke pellets, wooden tamper and tube of lubricant are also included with this steamer.
