Now available for sale is the somewhat rare Operating Switchman accessory. This accessory was manufactured in 1959, but appeared in the Lionel catalogue through 1961. This accessory is in near-new condition and has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and ready to set up on your layout or in a display case. The accessory has a clean base with beautiful exterior colors and nothing is nicked, chipped nor damaged. Lastly, there is no rust nor oxidation on the accessory.
Also included are all of the original extras as sold by Lionel, including:
- An original Orange Window box with the original insert. The box is complete with all interior and exterior flaps, but there is clear tape on the interior of most top flaps as well a some clear tape on the exterior flaps.
- Original packing envelope properly numbered 1047 for this accessory.
- The correct 145C instructions dated 1959 plus the correct variation with green printing on white paper.
- Six original postwar pieces of lumber.
- Three original postwar coiled -- and unused -- green wire.
- Original postwar 145C track activator.
