Here's a nice and clean New Haven box car from 1956. This freight car is the early variation with bar-end trucks and a smooth interior roof. The exterior colors are crisp and vibrant while the side lettering and graphics are complete and not worn nor faded. The only blemish on the box car is there is a very, very slight outwards bow on one half side of the freight car (2nd photo, to the right of the door) -- which is odd and completely unknown as to the root cause of this oddity. Lastly, the frame, door guides and trucks are in nice condition and free of rust and oxidation and the overall appearance of the paint and lettering is close to an 8!
