Up for sale is a beautiful, clean and complete maroon Lehigh Valley hopper. This hopper is the earlier variation with staple-end trucks, vibrant exterior colors and clean and complete side lettering and graphics. The body is complete, not damaged and there are very few marks or blemishes on the exterior. Lastly, the trucks, couplers and truck mounting plates are clean and free of rust and oxidation.
Also included with the hopper is its original Middle Classic box. The box is in poor condition with tears and missing several flaps, but it has protected the freight car over the past 70 years!
