Here's a clean, all-original D. L. & W. work caboose with heat stamped lettering on the frame. This caboose has been thoroughly cleaned, serviced and tested, the searchlight is fully functional plus it the exterior colors are vibrant with clean and crisp side lettering and graphics. However, there is a hairline crack on the top of the roof by the die-cast smokestack as well as a tiny chip on each tool bin edge, but there is no stress cracks on the rear roof overhang. Lastly, the wheels and trucks are free of oxidation and rust, but two of the four corner metal steps have a small spot of oxidation just beginning. Overall, a decent operator grade work caboose.
