2333 New York Central F3 AA Diesels: Rubber Stamped (7++)

Current Stock:

Product Description

 Condition:  7++          Original Box:  N/A          Year:  1948

Now available for sale is an all-original, extremely rare set of rubber stamped New York Central F3 AA diesels from 1948. These diesels are in superb condition and could easily be graded an 8, they are gorgeous. Best of all, these early rubber stamped variations usually have a decent amount of paint flaking off of the shell -- but this set is complete and has absolutely no paint flaking!

Both of these units have been thoroughly cleaned, serviced, tested and run as smooth today as the day they were made in 1948. The wheels, center rollers and interior show very limited signs of usage -- even the original scotch tape is still fixed to the bracket holding the e-unit to the frame! Additionally, the front decals are in great condition, the gray is vibrant, the side lettering is complete and not worn nor faded and there are no nicks, chips nor cracks on the shells. The motors, couplers, horn, e-unit and lights have all been tested and all functionality works as designed. Lastly, the front aprons have no paint loss -- also indicating very little run time over the prior 70+ years.
