Here's an extremely nice Operating Gateman accessory with it's original box and track activator. This Gateman has the more common maroon roof plus it has been tested and all functionality operates as designed. The base does have some very minor paint nicks from usage, but overall is clean and free of rust and oxidation plus the building is complete and free of nicks, chips and damage.
In addition to the accessory, the correct 1950 box, original instructions (properly dated 1950) and an original postwar track activator is included as well as a reproduction insert. Lastly, several sections of the original sellers tape is included on the exterior as the Gateman was sold by: Donnel Radio & Home Appliances & Televisions located at 43 Watchung Plaza in Monclair NJ. Although there is little collector value to this packing tape, it is a nice novelty and conversation piece for this accessory.
